Conquer a competitive 8k or a fun 2 mile walk in support of local Special Olympics Texas athletes.

Start/Finish: Corner of Stanton and Cincinnati
The RO8K honors the memory of Sergeant Ruben Orozco, a Law Enforcement Torch Runner who was involved with Special Olympics Texas for over 13 years.
Continue his legacy and promote diginity, equality and opportunity for all people. The RO8K proceeds benefit over 2,000 athletes in the Greater El Paso area.

Entry
$20 individual entry (before April 10, 2012)
$25 individual entry (after April 10, 2012)
$15 team registration or military personnel entry
Includes: 100% cotton long sleeve t-shirt
Awards
Trophies awarded to the top three master males/females and top three overall males/females
Medals awarded to the top three finishers for males/females in the following age groups: 9-under, 10-14,15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70-over.
RO8K Traveling Trophy Team: awarded to the top participating team. Qualifications: Teams must consist of exactly four members (no more, no less). All team members must cross the finish line within 30 seconds of each other. Co-ed teams are allowed.
RO8K Largest Team Trophy: awarded to the largest team. Qualifications: Minimum of 10 team members. All team entries must be turned in together.
Raffle prizes and special awards will be given at the end of the race. Must be present to win.
Packet Pick-Up
April 13-14, 2012 between 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. at Up and Running. 3233 N. Mesa St. Suite 205. You can also pick up your packet on the day of the race.
