Athletes Hoop it Up in Nacogdoches

Nearly 200 Special Olympics Texas (SOTX) athletes will put their hoop skills to the test in the East Texas area basketball tournament, February 25, at Stephen F. Austin State University. The competition will be held at the Lucile Norton/HPE Complex in Nacogdoches.

The tournament will kick off at 9:00 a.m. with an inspiring Opening Ceremonies – featuring SOTX athletes - and competition will start immediately afterwards and end at 4:00 p.m. Participants will compete in individual skills, team skills, 3 on 3 events, 5 on 5 games and Unified competitions.
