Volunteer at Spring Games in Killeen

Ready, set, spring!  The Special Olympics Texas (SOTX) – Heart of Texas area Spring Games is April 30 in Killeen.  SOTX athletes will compete in athletics (track and field) events at the Killeen Shoemaker High School stadium, located at 3302 Clear Creek Road.

The Games will kick off with Opening Ceremonies at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.  Competition will begin at 10:00 a.m. and wrap up around 4:00 p.m.

Volunteers are needed to cheer on our athletes and be fans in the stands at the Games.  Help is also needed to set-up and break down the facility, assist with judging, scoring, results and awards.  If you’re interesting in volunteering, contact Tommy Smith (tsmith@sotx.org) in the Heart of Texas area office at 254.230.4824.
