Fire Truck Pull is October 15

How strong is your support of the movement?  Test your muscle and sign up for Texas’ toughest tug-of-war contest at Special Olympics Texas’ (SOTX) Fire Truck Pull, hosted by the Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR), in Amarillo on October 15.

The Fire Truck Pull is an extreme strength assessment and requires teams of eight people to challenge their might and work together to pull an actual 45,000 pound fire truck for up to 50 feet!  The Pull will start at 10:00 a.m. and end at 12:00 p.m. at Westgate Mall, located at 7701 West Interstate I40.  The entry fee is $100 per team or $12.50 for individual competitors.  Proceeds will help support SOTX - Panhandle area athletes.

The Fire Truck Pull is free and open to the public.  For more information, contact Freddie Taylor (ftaylor@sotx.org) at 806.374.7171 or Benny Bundy (ben_good_time@yahoo.com) at 806.336.6918.
