Keepin' Up with the Greater Dallas Area

• New coaches were certified in several sports at the Fall Sports Training School held on June 4 at Town North YMCA.  Eleven coaches were certified in aquatics; three in bocce, nine in softball and 30 in Unified programs.

• A few of our athletes attended the Heroes Celebrity Game on July 9 at Dr. Pepper Park.  Check out the photos here.   

• Seven coaches were certified at the Golf Coaches Training on July 11 at Tenison Park. 

• Our athletes had a blast at SOTX Night with the Frisco Rough Riders at Dr. Pepper Ballpark on July 15.  Read more here.  

• The Greater Dallas area honored World Games athletes, Amanda Brookshire, Curtis Brown and Anderson Jones at the SMT Meeting on July 19. 

• One coach was certified at the kayaking training on August 13 at White Rock Lake.
  

• It was SOTX Night with the Airhogs on July 29.  Athletes and their parents go to attend the game at QuikTrip Park in Grand Prairie at no cost.

• Four coaches were certified at the Flag Football Coaches Training August 17 at the Bachman Rec Center. 

• More than 40 coaches were certified at the bowling coaches training he ld  on August 27 at USA Bowl.
