Give a Lot to a Cop on Top in Lubbock!
Fundraiser for Special Olympics Texas is September 23-24
In a few weeks, you might spot a cop on top of Walmart in Lubbock. It’s not part of an undercover stakeout, it’s a Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) fundraiser for Special Olympics Texas (SOTX) – South Plains area!
During Cops on Top, local LETR officers will take to the roof of Walmart, located at 4215 S. Loop 289, from 5:30 p.m. on September 23 through 6:00 p.m. on September 24, to raise money for and awareness of SOTX and its athletes.
Please contact Butch Lancaster (blancaster@sotx.org) at 806.749.7000 for more information or volunteer opportunities in the South Plains area.
