Corpus Christi Gears Up for Spring Games
On your mark, get set, go for the gold! Special Olympics Texas (SOTX) – South Texas area athletes are getting ready for the Spring Games competition on April 9. The Games will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. with Opening Ceremonies, followed by athletics (track and field) events at 9:45 a.m. The Games will end with a Victory Dance and Closing Ceremonies around 3:00 p.m.
The day-long competition will take place at Flour Bluff High School, located at 2505 Waldron Road. All events are free and open to the public.
Volunteers are needed to cheer on our athletes and be fans in the stands at the Games. Help is also needed to set-up and breakdown the facility, assist with judging, scoring, results and awards. For more information on volunteer opportunities, call the South Texas area office at 361.857.5679.
