For Immediate Release: March 18, 2010

Get into the swing of things at the Mulligans & Mudbugs Charity Golf Tournament, presented by SGS North America, Inc., on April 8 at Wildcat Golf Club in Houston.  Support Special Olympics Texas athletes and have a ball playing a great round of golf.  As an expression of their thanks, Special Olympics Texas golf athletes will be on the course to putt for each team.

The inaugural golf classic kicks off at 11:00 a.m. with lunch.  The shotgun start begins at 12:30 p.m. and is followed by awards and a Louisiana-style dinner at 5:30 p.m.  The tournament will involve area golfers in a four-man scramble format.

Entry fees are $150 for a single player and $500 per foursome.  Sponsorship opportunities are available.  For more information, visit www.sotx.org or call Carol Lockwood at 713.290.0049.
