Show Your Strength, and Support, of SOTX!

It's not too late to enter the ultimate strongman, and strongwoman, competition!  Special Olympics Texas - Central Texas Area and the Law Enforcement Torch Run are still registering teams for the Fire Truck Pull, hosted by the Austin African American Firefighters Association and Travis County Sheriff's Office on Saturday, May 15.

Teams of 12 people will test their strength and work together to pull an actual 55,000 pound fire truck for up to 50 feet!  So, grab a dozen of your strongest friends and come on out to the Kreig Softball Complex, located at 517 South Pleasant Valley Drive in Austin on Saturday.

Open to the public, the pull will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.  Registration will begin at 8:00 a.m.  The entry fee is $300 per team and $25 for individual competitors.  Awards will be presented for the Fastest Team Pull and Top Fundraising Team.
