Shake, Rattle and Bowl

Bowl for the Gold event gets rolling on August 7 at Abilene Bowling Lanes

Special Olympics Texas wants you to bring your best strike to the bowling alley for Bowl for the Gold. Bowl for the Gold raises funds for children and adults with intellectual disabilities who train and compete with Special Olympics Texas. The event is open to all ages and participants. Play on your own or round up a team of 4 or 5 friends, coworkers, high school or college students, or organizations for a friendly challenge.

To participate, simply raise $50 in donations to enter. Participants will receive two games of bowling, shoe rental and a T-shirt. Individuals may raise additional donations to receive incentive prizes. Awards will be presented for Highest Individual Score, Highest Team Total, Top Individual Fundraiser and Top Team Fundraiser.
