The Pineywoods Welcomes ‘10 Spring Games

Prepare to see a sporting event unlike any other!  The 2010 Special Olympics Texas (SOTX) – East Texas Area Spring Games is coming to the Pineywoods.  The games will begin on Friday, April 23 and end Saturday, April 24. 

All competitions will be held at Lufkin High School, located at 309 South Medford Drive, beginning at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.  Cycling is part of the day's events.  The games will continue on Saturday morning with Opening Ceremonies at 8:00 a.m., followed by athletics (track and field) competitions at 9:30 a.m.  Saturday's events will wrap at 4:00 p.m.
