Hoop it Up on the Bay3 on 3 basketball tournament returns for 21st year Hoop it up and see whose best on the bay! South Texas athletes are bringing their best game to the Bay Ball Ballyhoop 3-on-3 Street Basketball Tournament to battle on the courts and support Special Olympics Texas. The 21st Annual Pepsi Bay Ball Ballyhoop will be held on Saturday, July 24 and Sunday, July 25 at Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi. Categories include: men's open, women's open, males under 18, females under 18, Unified teams and more. Registration/packet pick up is Friday, July 23 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Competition begins at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 24. There will be a "Heat of the Day" break from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Following the break, competition will resume until 8:00 p.m. Sunday's competition begins at 10:00 a.m. and runs until 4:00 p.m. Awards will be given from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Special Olympics Texas is a privately funded non-profit organization, providing year-round sports training and athletics competition for 36,311 children and adults with intellectual disabilities in the Lone Star State.
