Get Chilly for SOTX this Saturday
Polar Plunge raises spirits and funds for local athletes
Law Enforcement Torch Run officers and Special Olympics Texas (SOTX) enthusiasts will brave the cold and jump into icy water to raise funds at the 2010 Polar Plunge. The plunge begins with registration at 11:00 a.m. Plungers will take the big dip in the pool at 12:00 p.m.
Saturday, November 13
Hardin Simmons University- Mabee Complex, located at 2200 Ambler Street, Abilene
To participate, plungers must raise a minimum of $25. Prizes are awarded to those jumpers with the most money raised and best costume! Register online today at http://sotx.convio.net/abilenepolarplunge or at the event!

About the Law Enforcement Torch Run
In Texas, the Law Enforcement Torch Run began in 1985 and had grown to become one of the largest in the nation. In the last decade, Torch Run has contributed over $11 million through the dedication of thousands of law enforcement personnel fundraising on behalf of SOTX.
