Dallas Professional Appointed Vice Chair of Board

Steve Hayes of Southlake has been appointed to serve a one-year term as Vice Chair of the Special Olympics Texas Board of Directors.

Hayes was named to the Board of Directors in 2007.  He previously served on the President's Advisory Council, and volunteered in numerous capacities for Special Olympics Texas competitions and events in the DFW Metroplex, in addition to being a certified coach.

Hayes is Senior Vice President of Brandt, a large mechanical and electrical contracting firm based in Dallas.  In this role, he oversees all engineering, service, and energy/environmental solutions business in Texas.  Prior to his current role, Hayes was District Manager for Siemens Building Technologies, Inc., a division of Siemens that provides building controls, fire safety and security system solutions.
