Chuy's Hot to Trot to Benefit SOTX

For Immediate Release: April 10, 2008

As Chuy's celebrates the 25th anniversary of their highly popular Hot to Trot 5 K and Kid K, Special Olympics Texas is proud to announce they will become part of the Chuy's tradition as the beneficiary of this truly historic event.  On Saturday, May 10 Chuy's and SOTX will kick off the new partnership with a new south Austin route.  The 5K will begin at the Chuy's Arbor Trails location at 4301 W. William Cannon.  Nestled in Austin's south backyard, the Kid K starts at 7:45 a.m. followed by the 5K at 8:15 a.m.

Chuy's isn't famous for their food alone, Hot to Trot 5K is one of Austin's oldest and most popular races.  So don't miss out on this unprecedented event as Special Olympics Texas partners up with Chuy's to help change lives of people in your community.  All proceeds will support SOTX- Central Texas area athletes.  For more information on the race and to register, click here.
