Spring and Summer Coaches Training Expo registration

This year, we have established a new registration process for all coach’s trainings.  You may now register all year or up until the Spring and Summer Sports Training Expo . You will find a link to the Eventbrite registration web page for Athletics, Basketball, Cycling, Soccer and Tennis.  Once inside this new website you will be able to register for the coaches training.  It will ask you to "purchase" your ticket to attend the coach’s training clinic; there is no monetary value to this purchase, simply click and register.

The website has all the information you will need to be a successful coach: information on the training, link to fill out a Volunteer A form, links to General Orientation and Protective Behaviors, map, etc.  Once you “purchase” your ticket to attend the coaches training you will be sent a confirmation email; the day prior to the event, you will be sent a reminder email that you have signed up for the sport in which you selected.

If for some reason we have inclement weather or any change in the coaches training, we will be able to email you an update immediately giving you the information needed for that day.  Please check your email the day before the training for any changes or updates.

If you have any questions, you may contact the Area Office at the number listed below.

Please click the link below and start your journey as part of the movement of change and acceptance at the Spring and Summer Special Olympics Coaches Training Expo.

Additionally, prior to attending the Spring and Summer Sports Training Expo, each new coach must attend the online training for General Orientation – which an individual must take once - and the Protective Behaviors Training – which an individual must take every three years along with completing a Volunteer A form to remain a certified Class A volunteer.  All of this information can be found at www.sotx.org.
