Motor Activities Training Program (MATP) Training Day

The Laredo area will host a Motor Activities Training Day for all Special Olympics Texas athletes who are working on developing skills that will lead to partcipation in traditional Special Olympics Texas sports competitions.   

This training day provides the athletes with an opportunity to demonstrate their very best and be recognized for their outstanding accomplishments. All athletes who participate are awarded a Challenge Day medal.

This event is open to all schools, group homes, residential facilities or other community based settings.
