General Orientation and Protective Behavior CoursesDATE: September 12, 2013 Completing the Special Olympics Texas General Orientation and Protective Behavior courses are the required first steps in becoming a coach, as well as a Class A volunteer for Special Olympics Texas. It includes a look at the history and progression of SOTX, our constituency, the sports and training aspects of SOTX, challenges of the organization, and the direction we are headed with help from volunteers statewide such as you. Anyone is welcome to visit and complete the sessions; however, it is a mandatory part of coaches education to attend a face-to-face General Orientation and Protective Behaviors or complete the quiz for credit online version by clicking here.
