Opening Ceremonies and Victory Dance

Opening Ceremonies is for the general public in the Greater El Paso area to come out and support the athletes competing in bowling, powerlifting and softball for the Fall Games. 

The Greater El Paso area will hold this event at the location listed below.  This event includes a Parade of Athletes, introduction of teams, coaches, sponsors and special guests, followed by an invocation, and athletes reciting the Athlete Oath.  After having the games declared open, the night will conclude with the Victory Dance.

Entries are due to the Greater El Paso area office by Monday, October 6, 2008, by mail or in person, by 5:00 p.m.  Do not fax entries.  Please visit www.sotx.org to utilize online entries.

Volunteers who have signed up for any events must present a picture identification card upon registration in order to volunteer for the day.
