Torch Run Street Solicitation

On April 6-7, 2012, Law Enforcement Torch Run officers will be at street corners throughout the city collecting donations for Special Olympics Texas - West Region.  Each year, these officers stand on the corners and raise money for the local athletes.  They will be out Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.- rain or shine! Officers from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice Units, Sheriff's Departments and DPS are involved in this event, which makes for fierce competition between the law enforcement teams! Come out and support your favorite officers.  Check back for designated intersections.
