Torch Run Street Soliciation

On April 11, 2009 the Law Enforcement Torch Run officers will be at street corners throughout the city collecting donations for Special Olympics Texas - West Region. Each year, these officers stand on the corners and are raising money for the local athletes. They will be out from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. - rain or shine! Officers from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice Units, Sheriff's Departments and DPS are involved in this event, which makes for fierce competition between the law enforcement teams! Come out and support your favorite officers on Saturday, April 11th.  Designated street corners have not been selected as of this date.
