Softball League

The Special Olympics Texas - Central Texas Area softball league is an area-wide competition for athletes/teams in the Central Texas area.

Deadline for Medicals: June 9 by 5:00 p.m.
Deadline for Delegation and Athlete Entries: June 23 by 5:00 p.m.

The league is scheduled to begin on July 5 and run through August 9 (with August 16 as the rain-out day back up). Division 1 games will begin at 6:30 p.m. and Division 2 games will begin at 7:30 p.m.

Directions to Havins Field
It is on N. Lamar between Braker Ln. and Parmer Ln. in Walnut Creek Metropolitan Park.

Look closely for turn for the park.  There is NOT a light at the intersection, but there are signs for it.  Once you've turned onto this road, the fields will be on your right after a little while. They are visible from the road.

Unlike the Krieg fields, there are only five fields at Havins. When you enter the park from Lamar, fields 4 and 5 will be the first softball fields on your right. If you drive a bit further up the road, you will come to fields 1-3, also on your right. The field numbers are on the backstops of the fields.

It is easy to miss the turn off Lamar, so please leave yourself plenty of time to get to the field.
