Basketball Competition

Area: Area 13 - Central Texas

The Special Olympics Texas - Central Texas Area Basketball Competition is an area-wide competition for athletes in the Central Texas area.

Deadline for Medicals: January 13 by 12:00 p.m.
Deadline for Delegation and Athlete Entries: January 19 by 5:00 p.m.

This event is tentatively scheduled as a two-day competition, February 24-25, 2012. The start and end time will be determined by the number of teams/athletes that enter the competition. This information will be updated in weeks leading up to the competition.

Athletes have the opportunity to participate in the following events: Individual Skills, Team Skills, 3 on 3, 5 on 5, and Unified Sports teams.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES: Medical Support, Souvenirs, Security, Athlete Meals, Opening Ceremonies, Families Area, Volunteer Registration, Awards, Equipment, Time Keepers, Scorekeepers, Court Monitors, Gym Monitors and Basketball Officials.
