Black Tie Gala
Date: November 8, 2008
Area: 10 - Greater Dallas
The seventh annual Black Tie Gala, presented by the T. Boone Pickens Foundation, promises to be an exciting and inspirtational evening. The night will begin with a VIP reception for honored guests, sponsors and celebrity SOTX athletes, a cocktail reception for general guests and silent auction, followed by dinner, a brief program, live auction and entertainment by All Funk Radio Show.
Terry King, KVIL radio personality, will be the emcee. King truly understands the movement of Special Olympics Texas because his own daughter is an athlete. The 2008 "Our Heroes" award recipient will be the City of Richardson and the "Flame of Hope" recipient will be Darrell Fant, former chief of police with Highland Park DPS.
Join us as we celebrate the achievements of our Greater Dallas athletes and our award recipients for their dedication to the movement of Special Olympics Texas. For more information on sponsorship opportunities, or to purchase a table or tickets, please call 214-943-9981.
