Meet Michael Carrillo
San Antonio - Area 20

Whether he is competing or helping others, Michael Carrillo is passionate about sports. A busy athlete, he competes in athletics, basketball, bowling, equestrian and roller skating. Carrillo was named the San Antonio Area Male Athlete of the Year in 2008, and the Edgewood ISD Male Athlete of the Year in 2007.

He has a vast collection of medals that he is very proud of. His parents say SOTX has given him the opportunity to participate in events at a competitive level that he had never known before. Both of his parents volunteer at equestrian events. They are his biggest fans! Carrillo is a 2008 graduate of John F. Kennedy High School.
