Jennifer Bloomer South Plains 17 - South Plains

Jennifer Bloomer will “bowl” you over with delight when you meet her.  Bloomer loves to bowl, and also enjoys competing in athletics and gymnastics.  She has been a participant with the Lubbock Falcons Special Olympics team since 1993, which she joined through her elementary school.  Bloomer has been awarded over 30 medals and ribbons throughout her involvement, but has most importantly been rewarded with wonderful friendships with many new people.

Bloomer graduated from Abernathy High School in 2004, and is currently doing volunteer work at Life Run Center in Lubbock.  She volunteers at least two days a week or more when the center needs extra help.  Her work consists of pulling files, putting together folders, and stuffing mail-outs for the center.  When she is not volunteering, Bloomer can be found putting together a jigsaw puzzle, making bead bracelets, clipping coupons or scrapbooking.  She attends American Sign Language classes at Life Run and helps with the Children’s Ministry at her church.
