Dive into Area Aquatics this Weekend

More than 80 Special Olympics Texas athletes from the Greater Houston and Golden Triangle areas will compete in the area aquatics competition on August 18 at the Beaumont I.S.D. Natatorium.    

Competitors will participate in 100m butterfly, 50m backstroke, 100m freestyle and 4x25m freestyle – Unified relay, just to name a few events.  The meet will begin with Opening Ceremonies at 9:45 a.m. and competition will wrap with an awards ceremony around 4:00 p.m.  The Knights of Columbus – Beaumont Council will provide lunch.
