Join the Race to "Be a Fan"

Step Up for the 5K and Fun Run on April 1

Prove your “fanhood” and join Special Olympics Texas (SOTX) – Greater Dallas area for the inaugural Be a Fan 5K and Fun Run on April 1.  The event will take place at Reverchon Park and includes part of the Katy Trail in Dallas.  It is open to all ability levels and families are welcome. The 5K and Fun Run will include a Fan Zone for live entertainment, giveaways and an awards ceremony.

The Fun Run begins at 9:00 a.m. and the chip-timed certified 5K starts at 9:30 a.m.  Packet pick-up is March 30-31 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Luke’s Locker Dallas, located at 3046 Mockingbird Lane.  Race day registration and packet pick-up is in Reverchon Park, located at 3505 Maple Avenue, from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. on April 1. 

Early registration is $25 per person and ends March 25.  Race week registration, March 26-31, is $30 per person.  Race day registration is $35 per person. The entry fee is $15 for children 12 and under.  A family package is also available for $70; the cost includes registration for two adults and two children 12 and under.
