Get Glitzy and Glamorous for Oscar Night 2012

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Get glammed up and walk the red carpet with Special Olympics Texas (SOTX) – San Antonio area at Oscar Night America (ONA), hosted by KSAT 12 and presented by Valero, on February 26.  Experience the elegance and excitement of the star-studded event at the Alamo City’s only sanctioned viewing of the Oscars.

Oscar Night America, now in its 19th year, is the Academy of Motion Pictures and Sciences’ grassroots program that allows local charities to host Oscar viewing parties and raise money for their organizations.  The San Antonio event is one of 50 cities in the country that will host official Oscar viewing parties during the 84th Academy Awards ceremony.

In San Antonio, Oscar Night America will kick off with a VIP Reception at 6:00 p.m. at Santikos Palladium IMAX Theater, located at 17703 W IH-10.  The stylish event will start at 7:30 p.m.  VIP tickets are $65; general admission tickets are $20 each.  Sponsorships are available.

All guests will receive an official ONA program exactly like the one that Hollywood celebrities receive on Oscar Night.  Guests will bid on luxurious items at a silent auction and diamond pendant drawing throughout the evening.
