Volunteer Spotlight

Highlighting those that give of their time in order for Special Olympics Texas athletes to have the time of their life.

We love our volunteers...here are only a few of the best!

There are more than 30,000 volunteers helping continue the mission of Special Olympics Texas in their local communities on a daily basis. Without the help and dedication of these awesome individuals we wouldn't be able to put on our competitions, trainings and events. They are the heart and soul of the organization. Recognizing them for their efforts and hard-work is just a simple way of saying "Thanks" for everything they do.

Special Olympics Texas would like to say "Thanks" to each and every volunteer, but we also wish to highlight those that go above and beyond in their duties. The Volunteer Spotlight is a place where we honor those with some special recognition for the work they have done in the area and for the organization. If you'd like to nominate someone for the Volunteer Spotlight award, please contact your area director.
