Heads of Delegation must submit this form by Tuesday, February 28, 2017 to get credit for completing the 2017 Area Conference and to maintain your coach certifications.

Heads of Delegation, Coaches, Family Members and Volunteers:
Thank you for all your time, energy and effort on behalf of the athletes. It is because of you that Special Olympics Texas is celebrating 48 years of successes.

Download and read the Area Conference

SOTX is accredited as a Special Olympics chapter through Special Olympics, Inc.  In order to maintain the chapter status, SOTX must abide by the policies and procedures set forth by SOI.

The chapter status allows SOTX to continue the mission to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.

NOTE: Before proceeding, it is highly recommended that you use Google Chrome or Firefox as your web browser.

Everyone who takes the online Area Conference will need to read the information below and select "YES" after each statement in order for the form to SUBMIT.

An email address can only be submitted once. Multiple submissions will be not be accepted.

Annually, the Head of Delegation will be required to sign a statement acknowledging the banking policy. This requirement will occur as part of the re-certification process at the Area Conference. All coaches attending the online Area Conference will need to select "YES" for the statement below in order for the form to SUBMIT.

All delegations/teams that engage in any public fundraising using the Special Olympics Texas Tax Identification Number (TIN) and whose accountability for such funds is not assumed by another responsibility entity (e.g., a school district, another corporate entity, and the like), must have a centralized account with SOTX. All other delegations/teams are accountable to Special Olympics Texas, Inc. (chapter office) and are required to deposit all funds into the SOTX centralized bank account which is held for the exclusive use of that team.
