Carquest
Carquest is a Premier International Partner of the Law Enforcement Torch run. CARQUEST employees have enjoyed their connection with Special Olympics and have chosen the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics as their "charity of choice". This is the first time in the 20-year history of the Torch Run that there has been a sponsor/partner like CARQUEST! This is very fortunate for the Torch Run here in Texas. The Straus-Frank Company headquartered in San Antonio is the second-largest member of the CARQUEST family. They have 322 stores in Texas alone. CARQUEST stores around the state sell Torch Run T-shirts and host other fundraising events throughout the year. The Straus-Frank Company has dedicated itself to advancing the mission of the Torch Run in Texas by encouraging all of its stores to team up with local law enforcement agencies in support of Special Olympics Texas. Texas Good Sams
This group of volunteers supports the Law Enforcement Torch Run with funds and their personal time. The Good Sams escort the Law Enforcement Torch Run on their leg routes of the Final Leg to Summer Games. They provide safety and comfort to the runners in their personal recreational vehicles (RVs). They also donate funds back to their local Special Olympics Programs. In the last two years, Good Sams has presented $10,000 checks to Special Olympics Texas, raising funds throughout the year and statewide in support of our athletes.
