In Texas, the Law Enforcement Torch Run is all-inclusive. It consists of over 200 participating agencies that come from city, county, state, and federal agencies. This includes local police departments, sheriff's offices, federal agencies like FBI, DEA, Border Patrol, and the individual units that make up the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ), as well as district attorney's offices, private prison, and judicial offices.
The top fundraising agencies in 2005 were recognized at the 2006 Statewide Conference. They are as follows:
