The Law Enforcement Torch Run® for Special Olympics Texas had a dream...to make it possible for Texans statewide to show support for law enforcement officers and Special Olympics Texas athletes. Thanks to their hard work -- and thanks to the support of members of the Texas House of Representatives, the Texas Senate and Texas Governor Greg Abbott, that dream became a reality.
As of January 1, 2016, Texans have the opportunity to donate $5 (or more) to Special Olympics when they are registering their vehicles -- cars, trucks, trailers or boats -- online or via snail mail with the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles. Ready to go?
