The South Plains area serves more than 530 athletes from the following counties: Bailey, Borden, Cochran, Cottle, Crosby, Dawson, Dickens, Floyd, Gaines, Garza, Hale, Hockley, Kent, King, Lamb, Lubbock, Lynn, Motley, Terry and Yoakum counties. Area sports include: aquatics, athletics, basketball, bocce, bowling, equestrian, golf, gymnastics, powerlifting, roller skating, softball, table tennis and tennis. The South Plains area also serves athletes ages two to seven through the Young Athletes program. More than 1,600 volunteers and 80 coaches contribute to the success of the South Plains area. |
