In last month’s eNews, we told you about the history-making Unified Champion Schools Quadrathlon at this year’s Summer Games. We accidentally left out one of our competitors, LCM High School of Little Cypress-Mauriceville ISD. So – please join us in congratulating the LCM team for a job well done. The school is one of our biggest Unified Champion Schools, and we know they’ll be back competing in the Quadrathlon next year.

We want to expand our Healthy Athletes program to each of the areas. The first step is bringing MedFest to the areas, to provide free health screenings that end with a completed SOTX Athlete Medical form, which is good for three years. But we need help – we can’t provide these free health screenings without qualified health professionals (licensed physicians, physician assistants and nurse practitioners).
