MANCHACA, Texas -- Student leaders from the H.A.L.O. (Helping Adolescents Lead Others) program partnered with Special Olympics Texas athletes from the Marbridge Foundation on Tuesday, March 22, to launch H.A.L.O.'s new "Breaking Down Barriers" campaign. H.A.L.O. founders Ahmad Brooks, Glen Mayes, and Frank Munoz were on hand to lead the students in short basketball and volleyball competitions to kick off this campaign. Mayes, who has a four-year old son with special needs, is leading the "Breaking Down Barriers" campaign as a way to create inclusion for the world his son will grow up and live in.

A great time was had by all and everyone involved in Tuesday's demo is excited to see what lies ahead.

Thanks to all the Marbridge staff and residents for the warm welcome and friendly competition!
