Durham Transportation Services moves our teams from venue to venue each year during Summer Games. Without them, Games would literally come to a standstill.

One of our bus drivers this weekend was Teresa Buchanan, who has volunteered as a driver during Summer Games for the past nine years.

Buchanan said she loves driving the bus for Special Olympics because "I love seeing the smiles when they win those awards."

She said that other bus drivers definitely should consider volunteering during Summer Games. "I would tell them that they would meet some unique and interesting people. It's a pleasure to drive these teams," she said.
