About 70 SOTX athletes, MiM facilitators and Unified pairs of Youth Leaders participated in a Unified Sports Demo held in Austin over the weekend. The demonstration was part of a three-day event that included workshops about Unified Sports, Unified Youth Leadership, and resources and support available for Project UNIFY and MiM. They also received information about SOTX programs, area offices and more. The participants represented 11 of SOTX's 19 areas. On Saturday, they put their sports skills to use at four different stations, including softball/mini-jav throw, soccer, flag football and bocce.
