Cindy Longoria became a SOTX athlete in 2nd grade, thanks to the encouragement of her adaptive P.E. teacher.  Today, the 14 year old bowling and athletics competitor has four gold medals, three silver medals, a bronze medal and a ribbon in her growing collection. Since she joined the organization, she has gained a lot of self-confidence and is always eager to compete.  An eighth grader at Antonio Gonzalez Middle School in Laredo, Longoria enjoys dancing, playing arcade computer games and chatting with her classmates on the phone.
