Twelve year old Ariana Sanchez joined SOTX in 2008. The Laredo area athlete was introduced to the organization by one of her elementary school teachers who started participating with her. The bowling and athletics competitor has earned three gold medals in area bowling and four gold medals in the 100m race, ball throw, standing long jump and team relay. A seventh grader at Antonio Gonzalez Middle School, Sanchez enjoys baking and cooking.  Her other hobbies include using computers and watching TV.
