The San Antonio area serves 5,274 athletes in Atascosa, Bandera, Bexar, Dimmit, Edwards, Frio, Kerr, Kimble, Kinney, LaSalle, Maverick, Medina, Menard, Real, Schleicher, Sutton, Uvalde, Val Verde, Wilson and Zavala counties. Sports offered in the area include: athletics, aquatics, basketball, bocce, bowling, cycling, equestrian, figure skating, golf, gymnastics, kayaking, powerlifting, speed skating, soccer, softball, table tennis, tennis, triathlon, roller skating and volleyball. The San Antonio area also serves athletes ages two to seven through the Young Athlete program. There are 219 certified coaches in the area. |
